# Rewards Pool

The rewards pool is a mechanism to accrue long-term value to the Eclipse platform, the goal is to accumulate a pool of assets that grows over time.

A portion of tokens from projects allocated to the Eclipse Accelerator program will be permanently locked into the rewards pool, these assets will be staked with those staking rewards used to bolster long-term Eclipse staking rewards.\

The rewards pool will also accumulate a portion of NFT royalty revenue.
